PublishCLUB Returns This Semester: Strengthening Scientific Publishing Skills
With the start of the new semester, CESAR PublishCLUB is back, offering another opportunity to develop scientific writing and publishing skills. Supported by the Centre of Excellence for Safety Research (CESAR), PublishCLUB provides a platform for PhD students, early-career researchers and academic staff to exchange experiences, gain practical knowledge and improve the quality of their scientific publications.
The new semester kicks off on 3 November 2026, with the seminar “Parts of a Paper and Ethics in Publishing”, led by Stefan Spitzer, PhD, researcher at CESAR and Head of Scientific Research at Elfi-Tech e.V. The session will focus on structuring scientific papers effectively and understanding key principles of publication ethics.
The seminar will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 in room LD222 at the Faculty of Safety Engineering, with the option to participate online via MS Teams.
A recording of the seminar will be made available afterwards, with a link published in the PublishCLUB section on the CESAR website.
Through initiatives such as PublishCLUB, CESAR supports the continuous development of researchers’ professional competencies, strengthens scientific communication skills and promotes high-quality, responsible research and publishing practices.
